Satinder Baweja and Lori Vidak have coauthored several research papers, articles, and blog posts. Now they are sharing project management insights through fictional stories based on realworld experiences.

Satinder is the CEO and founder of Milestone Consultants, a leader in program and project management consulting. With over 30 years of experience, he assisted executives and corporations in the USA, Europe, and South America in organizing and managing large programs, launching products, entering new markets, and managing diverse cultures. Satinder has lived, worked, and studied in East Africa, India, and the US. His education includes a master’s degree in engineering from Texas A&M, USA. Satinder believes that to be a thought leader means sharing your knowledge and experience to improve the project management profession. After co-writing papers and giving presentations around the world, his next step was to write books. There are many program and project management books available to the PM world, but reading themcan be a chore. He wanted to convey his experience and project management principles through storytelling to make the reading enjoyable while giving real-world examples. His education, work, leadership, and diverse cultural experience contribute to the written works' project and program management principles.
Lori Vidak is the content manager and research consultant for Milestone Consultants. She has been with the company since 2014. As a researcher, Lori acquired an understanding of program and project management, project controls, and scheduling. She has a talent for connecting dots, seeing patterns, and analyzing from both a bird's-eye and a microscopic view. Lori and her husband owned and operated a small silk-screen and promotional products company for 30 years. Silk-screen printing on various substrates in different shapes and sizes required specific inks and customized equipment to apply them, making her the daily problem-solver. Lori is a published author of fiction novels. Her creative passion is writing. She has a talent for creating complex, engaging characters and a story that keeps the readers turning pages until the end. She has been a storyteller since her youth. So, when Satinder considered writing a PMO fiction novel, she was elated to help craft a story that put the principles into creative action and bring that love for creativity to the novel. Lori also works part-time as a swim instructor and an aquatic fitness instructor. A self-proclaimed water-baby, she can’t seem to stay out of the water for long.
